In August 2022, Safe Work Australia released a new code of practice that addresses psychosocial hazards in the workplace. The code names 14 psychosocial risks, ranging from job demands, low autonomy and poor support to poor interpersonal interactions in the workplace and inadequate recognition of efforts.
Understanding how architects' workplaces are mitigating these risks and promoting mental wellbeing in the workplace is an important step towards helping the profession to thrive.
